The Preparation

When I arrive at my destination, like beautiful Lisbon, I am not exhausted. Because I practiced mindful travel, I have the energy to explore immediately. The goal isn't just to get there; it's to arrive feeling good.

The Journey

Transit time is often seen as "lost time." But I try to use it differently. I disconnect from work emails and put my phone away. It becomes a quiet moment to reflect or just watch the world go by. It is a rare chance to just "be" without needing to "do" anything.

The Arrival

Before every trip, I spend time organizing my essentials. It’s not just about packing; it’s about preparing my mind. Airports can be very stressful and chaotic. If I am organized, I don't feel anxious. Instead of rushing, I can enjoy a coffee and feel ready for the journey. The trip starts right here, not when the plane lands.
